Participation in events and conferences

We have many reasons to be proud of our work. Over the past few years we have worked tireless-ly and in return we have realised the dreams for so many of out customers. They have visited us from around the globe in the hope of finding their own little piece of Italy.

We are proud that through our combined efforts, new life is returning to the beautiful buildings that we find for them, some of which had been lying empty and abandoned. The new found owners have lovingly restored these hidden gems which have now become wonderful homes with their new owners creating the next chapter of their unique history.

It’s great that so many people stay in touch with us too, to come and see us if they are in the area, or to follow us on Social media. Many will already know that our team is expanding and this year we also moved into our new office.

Of course this is all part of our day to day life, it’s what we love to do, but, there are also some unique events that we are immensely proud to have been involved with that we would love to share with you. It’s also a great way for those of you who who don’t know us just yet, can get to know us better!

• July 2024: Annual Retire Overseas Virtual Conference.

• July 2023: Annual Retire Overseas Virtual Conference.

• June 2023: We spent an exciting week with the "Maine Cabin Masters" team and the Morrill family searching for the perfect vacation home to renovate for this episode. We explored several towns in the Abruzzo and Molise regions, visiting various houses and taking breaks along the way to enjoy traditional Italian cuisine. In the end, the Morrill family chose a charming countryside home near the picturesque village of Fossalto, in the Molise region. Everything to Know About Maine Cabin Masters: Building Italy. • September 2022: Our annual participation in the Retire Overseas event took place in September 2022.

• March 2022: On this occasion, ‘A Place in the Sun’ selected the ‘Hot Property’ from our list of properties to show on its TV program. The episode aired on television for the first time on November 21, 2023. To learn more, you can visit the "A Place in the Sun" website dedicated to this episode set in Abruzzo.

• November 2021: 17th November, Peter Harper, CEO of Asena Advisors, and special guest Monia Di Guilmi discuss investing and owning real estate in Italy, for the Three Pillars podcast, episode of the Wealth Management Series. • October 2021: 12-15th October, Monia participated as speaker in the Live and Invest in Europe Virtual Conference.

• September 2021: 13-17th September Abruzzo Rural Property attended the Retire Overseas Virtual Conference organised by Live and Invest Overseas.

• October 2020: 20-23th October, Monia participated as speaker in the Live and Invest in Europe Virtual Conference.

• September 2020: 22-25th September Abruzzo Rural Property attended the Retire Overseas Virtual Conference organised by Live and Invest Overseas. The Coronavirus, or COVID-19, has temporarily changed the world as we know it. It has forced countries to close their borders, planes have been grounded, and we must all wash our hands regularly, cocoon, self-isolate, and socially distance while out and about. Therefore, during 2020, Live and Invest has switched all its in-country conferences to virtual events.

• October 2019: Premio Cambiamenti (The Change Award), organised by CNA Abruzzo. This aims to reward young companies with innovative and creative ideas throughout the region. Out of the entries and 69 chosen participants,13 companies were selected as finalists by the judges. Abruzzo Rural Property was one of the finalists. On 30th October 2019 the panel of judges, including business specialists as well as students of Economics and Commerce from the University of G. D'Annunzio of Pescara casted their votes. We were very delighted to be selected as Fourth in this prestigious award.

• September 2019: 6-9th September Abruzzo Rural Property attended the Retire Overseas Conference organised by Live and Invest Overseas. It was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Houston Texas. This is the third year we have attended the Live and Invest Overseas annual events. With Monia presenting the excellence of Abruzzo and Real Estate Proposals. With experts from across the world at-tending it is always an interesting event, as well as meeting potential customers who dream of buying a home in Italy.

• June 2019: In June we were invited to appear in an entire episode of House Hunters International, the American reality show that is broadcast on HGTV. The HHI crew spent five days with us and an Australian couple, who are featured in the episode. The villages where the crew spent most of their time filming were Palmoli, Roccaspinalveti, Mafalda and Tufillo. The filming then moved to San Salvo and Vasto. Special thanks to our super collaborator Valentina, who, we discovered, has an innate talent in front of the cameras. • October 2018: For the very first time Live and Invest Overseas, Kathleen Peddicord and her team decided to organize a LIOS conference in Abruzzo. The conference was held at the hotel Esplanade in Pescara. We worked extensively with the LIOS conference manager Valentine Fouche. The event was a great success and there were 70 participants from United States who were interested in investing here in Abruzzo. The visitors concluded their trip with a two-day mini-tour organized by Abruzzo Rural Property, with the aim to show the conference participants not only the city of Pescara, but to take them to the villages inland. Lake Bomba as well as the stunning coastal area of the Trabocchi as well as the beautiful city of Vasto where the participants stayed for two nights. It was a unique experience that has left us with many new friends.

• September 2018: Monia from Abruzzo Rural Property went to Las Vegas, to take part in the annual Retire Overseas Conference, part of Live and Invest Overseas. The event was held from the 8th to the 11th of September at the Casino Hotel Excalibur. The 2018 conference saw a large number of participants with customers coming from all over the world at the magical and unique atmosphere of Las Vegas.

• September 2017: Abruzzo Rural Property is invited for the first time by Kathleen Peddicord to take part at the Retire Overseas Conference in Orlando, Florida. A four-day conference at The Hilton Buena Vista at Disney Spring. This was a joint visit together with the Foreign Chamber of Commerce of Pescara. We presented the Abruzzo region and our real estate proposals. The outcome was really exciting! This first conference in the United States made us realise that Abruzzo has huge business potential! Everything was great in Florida, apart from the hurricane Irma.

• June 2015: The English television program ‘A Place in the Sun’ came to visit us again. This time it was to film two nice friends who had decided to buy their holiday home here in Abruzzo. To know the final choice you can watch the episode on our Vimeo channel.

• July 2014: It was a joy to find that two houses of Abruzzo Rural Property were selected to be filmed by English television program ‘A Place in the Sun.’ The program crew filmed for several days in different locations of Abruzzo and we are happy to have been involved in the making of this entirely dedicated episode about Abruzzo.
