Character stone house in Colledimezzo. Abruzzo.

The house is located in the historic centre of Colledimezzo, a tiny village full of character, perched on the top of a hill overlooking the Bomba Lake, in the province of Chieti. At only 50 minutes drive from the very popular Roccaraso Ski Pass and 30 minutes from the Trabocchi coast on the Adriatic sea.

This house is completely made of stone, with walls 25 cm thick, although it has been plastered and the stones are not visible. The plaster can be removed to get back the original stones.

The house is composed by a kitchen with fireplace, adjacent to the kitchen there is an oval room with stone walls that used to be the ancient larder. On this same floor we find the dining room, a large living room and two bedrooms. The house avails of character details like original tiles, wooden shutters, wooden beams, vaulted ceilings and a large cellar completely made out of stone. The house does not avail of a bathroom, internal renovations are required. The house enjoys a stunning view across the hills. Utilities: water and electricity.
