Impressive historic palace with stunning view near the coast.

This beautiful palazzo is situated in the center of Torino di Sangro, a pretty small town at just 9 km from the Adriatic sea. The building avails of a very solid structure and roof in perfect condition. (The roof has been completely restored in 2010).

Internally it features a square-plan layout with a staircase in the centre. On top of the central staircase, there is a large roof window that provides natural light to an area of the house that otherwise it would be dark.

The central staircase divides the house in two parts, the ground floor and the first floor.

The ground floor is also split into two sections, the one on the right side where we find the old kitchen and the pantries of the palace. This part of the house opens directly into a small street; these rooms have high windows to grant ventilation, beautiful vaulted ceilings, original cotto tiles, but unfortunately no views.

On the left side, opposite to the kitchen and pantries, we find three large, beautiful rooms with stunning cementine tiles with characteristic and unusual patterns, large windows overlooking the town and the surrounding hills, and high barrel ceilings with frescos. These large rooms also feature original wallpapers, built-in cupboards and elegant doors.

On the left side of the first floor we find other three large impressive rooms with the same high barrel ceilings with stunning authentic frescos, beautiful ceramic tiles and period wallpapers.

On the right side of the first floor we find other two very large rooms with unusual tiles featuring geometric pattern, built in furniture and view across the town.

The property needs the following restoration works: General cosmetic works to repristinate the frescos, the wallpapers and the built-in furniture and doors. New kitchen, new bathrooms, to be re-wired, new gas boiler for the central heating, new windows and shutters.
