The house is completely made of stone, it has been beautifully restored in 2005. The current owners have obtained a B&B license and the property is currently used as a Bed and Breakfast.

The house is divided into three independent apartments. The two smallest apartments measure 50 sqm each, the largest apartment measure 100 sqm. The two smaller apartments are composed by a kitchen with living room area and fireplace, a double bedroom and a bathroom. These two apartments can accommodate four people. The larger apartment is composed by a kitchen with living room area and fireplace, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms. This apartment can accommodate six people. All the apartments avail of underfloor heating system, double glazing windows, cotto tiles, wooden beams and exposed stone. The house also avails of a large cellar with a window used as a living room.

The house is surrounded by two hectares of land with 80 olive trees, fruit trees and woodland. The property is located at 1,5 km from the beautiful village of Abbateggio in the natural park of the Majella in Abruzzo region. The village is considered one of the most charming hamlet in Italy by the tourist guide I Borghi piu’ Belli d’ Italia.

Abbateggio is just 40 minutes’ drive from Pescara and from the Adriatic coast and about 200 km from Rome. Abbateggio is 450 metres above the sea level; therefore, the temperatures are always mild. Close to Abbateggio we find the well known town of Caramanico Terme with its famous spa and its curative thermal waters recommended for those with respiratory problems. Close to Abbateggio there are numerous charming villages like Roccamorice, San Valentino in Abruzzo and Colle della Civita. Perfect for walk lovers the Giumentina valley and the Orta Valley. The closest skiing resort is Passo Lanciano at just 27 km.
