The house is situated in the pretty village of Castiglione Messer Marino, a characteristic lively commune in the mountains of Abruzzo region.

The house stands on three floors and measures approx. 150 sqm. It is made of stone and avails of a balcony with view on the town and the surrounding mountains.

The main entrance is located on the ground floor, it opens into a long corridor with a staircase that takes us to the first floor where we find a dining room with a stove, an adjacent kitchen with a beautiful marble fireplace and vaulted ceilings and a large, bright living room with a balcony and a full bathroom with bathtub and boiler that provides hot water.

On the second floor we find four bedrooms. Two of them avail of vaulted ceilings.  Adjacent to the master bedroom there is a storage room with a window that can be converted in an ensuit bathroom or a walk-in wardrobe.

On the ground floor there is a large room with vaulted ceilings. It is internally connected to the house and has its own entrance from the street. It was previously used as a second kitchen.

The property features lovely characteristic cement tiles, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, traditional wooden shutters and possibility to expose the stone also internally in some of the rooms.

The property needs internal restoration and some maintenance works.

The roof has been restored in 2012.
